Does life REALLY revolve around whether or not your favorite college football team wins or loses?
I know there is BIG money in college football. I know there are BIG bragging rights. But really, all the hysteria around who's #1 and how tough this schedule is and how weak that schedule is, is really pathetic.
I've been reading some of the comments on websites about the Utah team and their defeat of Alabama. The players for both these teams are KIDS - 19 or 20 years old, the majority of whom will never play football again after college except in the backyard. And GROWN MEN are saying some ugly, hurtful things about them. All of the kids on all the teams that are playing want to win. But someone always loses. That doesn't mean the kids who played so hard should be derided.
Why don't you just get a life!
