Fear

During the past year a lot of my friends have expressed fear over many things including:

• who the next President would be
  
• how the stock market is doing
  
• job security
  
• family issues

When times are uncertain and life is precarious, I am glad I don't have to worry about these things. The God I love and serve has promised to provide for all my needs, Matthew 6:31-33. Notice there is a conditional statement. Read verse 33 again. If I seek the kingdom of God above everything else, then God will provide all that I need.

Do I screw it up sometimes? You betcha! Does God forgive and continue to pour out his blessings? You betcha! Why? Because of his son, Jesus Christ.
